CARE PROGRAMS

Animal care education that grows with young people.

CARE Team combines age-appropriate education, hands-on experiences, and opportunities for action to help young people understand what animals need—and how their choices can make a difference.

AGE-TAILORED LEARNING

Curriculum Tracks

Our age-tailored curriculum builds animal stewardship progressively, helping young people develop understanding, empathy, responsibility, and the skills to put care into action.

Elementary School

Middle School

High School

Foundational lessons help students understand animal needs, recognize emotions and behavior, develop empathy, and begin practicing responsible animal care.

Students deepen their understanding of animal stewardship by exploring responsibility, decision-making, community impact, and the consequences of human choices.

Students examine more complex animal welfare issues, connect individual choices to community outcomes, and apply stewardship through problem-solving and purposeful action.

COMMUNITY PROGRAMS

Learning Beyond the Classroom

HANDS-ON EXPERIENCES

CARE in the community

CARE brings animal stewardship education into community settings through interactive, hands-on experiences for young people and families. Programs reinforce responsible care, empathy, and personal ownership while connecting learning to real-world action.

PUTTING CARE INTO ACTION

CARE in Action

Learning becomes more meaningful when young people have opportunities to put it into practice. CARE in Action encourages young people to turn what they learn into real-world acts of animal stewardship—at home, at school, and in their communities.

These experiences help reinforce personal ownership and show young people that even small actions can make a meaningful difference.
